I am originally from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Northern Michigan University. After graduation, I moved to Colorado and worked for over ten years as a critical care float pool nurse at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital working within different areas of the hospital such as oncology/ hematology, emergency, critical care and cardiac care. I earned my Master’s of Science in Nursing specializing in Family Practice at the University of Northern Colorado. I am a current member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurses Association.
I enjoy the challenge and variety family practice offers on a daily basis. I strive to create a comfortable environment and a strong rapport with my patients and their families. I believe in patient education to ensure that patients have sufficient information and understanding to make informed decisions regarding their care.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and with my dog, Wrigley. I love to ski, hike, cook, travel, and attend music concerts and live theatre. I love Colorado because of its unlimited outdoor activities and for its sunshine!
