About Me

Ashley Birger, PA-C. I enjoy working with patients of all ages at Aspen Family Care, located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. I received my Master of Physician Assistant Studies - Pediatrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program with a special focus on the evaluation and treatment of illness in children. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, where I ran competitively for the track and cross country teams. I am a current member of Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).

I have a passion for sports medicine, given my 10+ years of competitive running and experience with many running-related injuries. I enjoy creating diet and exercise programs for weight loss, cholesterol, and blood pressure management. My passions extend to pediatrics and women’s health care, as well as treating depression and anxiety.

As a native to Colorado, I enjoy running for the Boulder Running Company/Adidas Retail Race Team along with my husband, who is my training partner and coach. I also enjoy skiing, biking, camping, and reading. My two rabbits and two young beagles, Gunner and Jett, keep the family very busy.
