Physician Assistant located in Highlands Ranch, CO

About Me

I earned my Master of Medical Sciences from St. Francis University and received my Physician Assistant certification from Red Rocks Community College in Denver, Colorado. I received my Bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in math and an emphasis in chemistry from Regis University. Prior to working at Aspen Family Care, located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, I worked as a hospital physician’s assistant at St. Joseph's, Presbyterian/St. Luke’s, Good Samaritan, and Vibra Long Term Acute Care Hospital. I have extensive experience working in internal medicine and geriatrics. Since joining Aspen Family Care in 2012, I have enjoyed working with adults, adolescents, and children. I believe in treating the whole patient and believe strongly that prevention and education are key components to disease management. I also encourage proper nutrition and exercise to all my patients.

An active member with the Colorado Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), I also served as a board member for CAPA. I was a leadership scholar throughout my undergraduate education, consistently on the Dean’s list. I was the Director of Diversity at Red Rocks Community College and served the community through many service-oriented projects.

I enjoy hiking, trail running, mountain biking, open water swimming, rafting, and camping. My personal accomplishments include completing my first half marathon in 2013 and reaching the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2011. I am currently working on climbing all of Colorado's 14ers.
