About Me
Laura Badur, FNP-BC. I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner (FNP), with previous NP experience in cardiology & primary. I earned my Bachelors of Science & Nursing from Bradley University in 2014 and have seven years of previous nursing experience in inpatient medical-surgical care & cardiac telemetry. I went on to graduate with my Masters of Science & Nursing from Northern Illinois University in 2020 and received additional education in cardiology through the Cardiovascular Post-Graduate Nursing program from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2021.
I am passionate about providing a wide range of health services to diverse populations across the lifespan. I believe in a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and the use of evidence-based research to improve patient outcomes. I enjoy empowering patients through education about their health so that they may make informed decisions that improve their well-being.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends and traveling both locally & internationally to experience diverse cultures & explore new places. Some of my hobbies include cooking, drawing or painting, and going on bike rides with my husband.
